Our First Milestone

ARM marked its establishment with a small stakeholder gathering of well-wishers in Suriname with the kind support of our first sponsors, Clevion Gold and Five Star Gold Mining N.V. which are part of the Clevia Group. This event brought together key stakeholders and partners to celebrate our launch and discuss collaborative opportunities for sustainable resource management in the region.

Building Partnerships

We’ve already begun productive collaborations, including:

• Supporting community-led nature tourism proposal development with Stichting Toerisme Boven Suriname
• Resource mobilisation through donor cultivation and proposal development

Looking Ahead

Our board has identified exciting opportunities, including:

• Using generative AI to enhance stakeholder engagement in decision-making.
• Supporting food system resilience through the project development and partnerships with local cassava producers in Guyana.
• Developing projects that integrate traditional knowledge with conservation strategies.
